Something I'd wanted to do for a while.
Yep, I'm still around. I made it through the holidays and I finally got a day off without someplace I HAD to go for long enough to do something I had wanted to do for a very long time.
I don't know what happened to Ewelina20 at MTS, she has apparently been inactive since October according to her page (as of today anyways) so it seems unlikely that I'd receive a response, but last December she posted some really cute kids paintings at MTS and I loved them and used them frequently. However, they were all done as separate files and thumbnails and that kind of bugged me after a while.
Her originals are HERE.And this is her presentation for all of the various images I've included. This isn't just a merged package, though. I took her .dds files and imported them all as variations onto a single painting which will only have the one thumbnail. It appears in wall decor next to the lips painting, and is the same price as the lips painting. I do wish I knew who the actual artist of these was, though, since they're so cute.
She did all of the hardest of the work, wherever she is and whatever she is doing now, so I thank her for that.
I have some intentions to do the same with some of the other art sets she had released as well. I also have plans to do the same to some of my previous works, the Disney posters I released at CustomSims3. Since CS3 has been having technical difficulties for some time, things that WERE hosted over there are currently inaccessible until Regina gets the new site up but she has had a busy holiday as well and so it has been a bit of a long transition.
Anyways, that's it. It's just a fix of something I liked a lot that I felt I could improve upon slightly. I may try to get in and do more of these types of fixes as I have time.

Some new stuff to share...soon?
I actually have a few little lots, a pattern or 2, and some other stuff I want to post, but for some reason any picture posted through Blogger on anyones' blogs, including mine are appearing as broken from my PC right now. I've been having some issues with...well, lots of PC stuff since yesterday. However, I will try to get that working properly for me so I can be sure that everything is posting correctly. (That or I'll put him on it and he can try to figure out what's up while I'm at work lol.)
I will be trying though, I know it's been a little while, but I do have a few things just about there and I will see if I can get something new out soon.

I adore Eric Tan!
Okay, so Eric Tan does artwork for Disney/Pixar promotion as well as whatever other work he does. I saw these and went a little nuts in a "gotta catch em all" fever. Check out his blog, http://erictanart.blogspot.com/ and see his other stuff.
Because I LOVED these soooo much, I had to make some for my simmies.
Aikea-Guinea did some FANTASTIC sci-fi prints that these reminded me of, so I used her lovely mesh for my own
All 27 pictures are in the same file as recolors. Aikea's mesh is recolorable on both the mat and the frame.
Thanks for stopping by!

TOU: No paysites ever, but outside of that sharing is caring.

Oh, wow, how long has it been?
It's been a while, certainly. I'm not gone or anything, I'm just insanely busy with family and work-related stuff. I'm getting some stuff pulled together for something new, but I haven't quite figured out all of the finer points yet.

Stupid...grumble grumble.
Okay, so it doesn't seem like it's everyone, but some people are having issues with the trellis. I intend to take a look at it, but I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. I've gotten a suggestion or 2, I'll just have to take a little time to mess with it.
If you're one of those that are having problems with this object, I sincerely apologize. It's not a game breaker but it's not working as advertised and that's frustrating to you as the downloader and me as the creator. I'll try to have a fix up soon, but it may take a day or 2 as I'm really busy atm.
Sorry about the issues, sorry about the wait. I'm learning a lot of this as I go, so I hope you can bear with me as I learn.

New and Improved!
Today, I actually did quite a bit. I learned how to make patterns, so I have one of those for you in 2 sizes. My first completed pattern. YAY!
Also, you know that trellis? The one with the red-only blossoms? Not anymore! I wish I knew how to make default replacement, since this one is 3-colors re-CASt-able. This one was one of those things that I kept setting aside until I could decide how I wanted to approach it. I may revisit this later, as I simply moved EA's textures for the leaves and flowers from an overlay stamp onto the multiplier texture instead of creating my own...however, I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out.
I also have a few sets of paintings sitting on my desktop that I'm going to be sharing shortly, I just am too tired to get all of the preview pics done tonight. Check back in a day or 2, I should have something new up, since they're completed but all need pics done.
TOU: Play nice, behave.
The New:It's based on the image from my Quartets sets, and comes in 2 sizes (large on the wall and small on the rug, though that should be fairly apparent lol).

More Gradient Clothing
Okay, so I said I would and I did.
I've got some more stuff, including some stuff for the guys.
First off, I have the Teen Female Gradient stuff, same as the adult versions, jeans and the pencil skirt.
Then, for the teen guys, I imported the alpha layer of the "rock" career jeans to have some more options, then gave them a ragged and a regular jean with the gradient technique.
Because they already had the rock jeans for Adults, I just added some more color regions and added gradients for the adult males in ragged and regular.
Also, I'd like to thank Brian (aka Breanni) of WarcraftPets.com for allowing me to use his pet images for creation purposes here. I was a Warcraft player for about 5 years and while I don't play anymore, I rather miss my critter collection. I'll probably do some wall art or something with some of the pets as well, and I'm working on a tee set for the ladies, but haven't completed it yet.
As usual, play nice, especially no Exchange with the tees, but feel free to use them. Thanks for stopping by.

Adult Female Gradient Bottoms
Okay, I don't generally do so much with clothes, mostly because I don't do anything really all that different that can't be done by others better. However, I may be doing some now and then because I have some fun ideas. When Lemonleaf and Claeric did a few gradient shirts and stuff, I loved the idea and so I put a few together. My teen versions are acting screwy for some reason so I'll fix and upload those tomorrow if I can figure out what's going on. However, I have some adult female jeans and a pencil skirt for you today.
Thanks to Lemonleaf for the idea, Claeric for exploring it further and posting a how-to in MS3B's comments and you for looking.

Hooray! New Stuff!
I finally have a new update! Woo!
Today, I have a bunch of paintings on Beryl's "Leaves" mesh. Lots of cool stuff there, worth a peek. La Buhardilla de Beryl.
However, I must say, since most artists tend to release pairs of themed works instead of clusters of 4, this was a bit of a challenge finding 4 corresponding works by the same artist in a theme. Not impossible, and I certainly could go another round or 2 and manage, but initially it was a little complicated. Because of that, there are works by a fairly wide variety of artists here, and I do want to give them the credit for the beautiful pieces that they created. I don't know all of them because I couldn't find info for them (but liked them too much to pass up), but I'll give you what I know.
So, here goes. We're going to go top left clockwise around. ;o)
1) Swan Papel
2) Teri Jonas
3) Tandi Venter
4) ???
5) Qwerties?
6) Tandi Venter
7) Don Li-Leger
8) Kate Knight
9) Erica J Vess
10) Don Li-Leger
11) Katie Pertiet
12) ???
Sorry, I don't have all of the info.
Oh, and in case those weren't enough (because they aren't), I have some other previews a little closer.
Available as a package or sims3pack, all paintings are in the same file.

As usual, my TOU is pretty basic: play nice, be fair, etc. ;o)

I'm still here.
Sorry I haven't posted lately. I got really really sick for almost a week, fevers and the whole nine yards. I was a mess and didn't get out of bed for 4 days. Then my kid deleted my entire folder of image files I've stashed and saved to make CC. SOOOO....I'm alive again, finally, and as long as I can replenish my stash relatively soon, I should be back on the creation train soon.
(I've been on an image bender lately and I've built up QUITE a collection already, I just haven't managed to get anything READY yet.)
Anyways, I'll be back with more soon!

Good News!
Well, not that ANYONE has found this place yet, but I've been given a creator's space at Custom Sims 3, and so I'll probably be posting some stuff here some as I update.
We'll see how it goes and I'll decide how I'm going to do this as that comes up.

3x5 Fresh and Fun Rugs
Recolors of the Desdren Indie Dining room rug, I love Desdren. I love a lot at 6:30 am with no sleep lol.

Just a quick note.
I just wanted to make sure that I mentioned that I am indeed working on transferring some older collections and some other rugs here as well. I'm also in the process of upgrading my Disney prints and my Kush pieces as well. Soon enough I'll have new updated versions or whatever of all of those works as well as my boys' rugs and unisex rugs that I just haven't redone the pics for.
The 3x2 Neutral Rug
Sims Art Gallery has some really cute rugs and a pretty remarkably open TOU to recoloring, so I'd like to thank her briefly. I just ADORE making rugs right now, I've made a TON so far, and I have another 400 or so image files waiting for me to decide if I want to use them, too.

Rodney White, The "Celebrate" Collection
I do love a good Rodney White. It's aged, but optimistic. I may not be all that aged, but the optimistic part I feel a kinship to lol.
